What I’m Reading Now (An Unrelated Update)

U = Unrelated Update

Believe it or not, sewing isn’t my only hobby. (Shocker, I know.) I also love reading, and I can’t seem to get enough of books lately. If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen how excited I was while reading the Hunger Games series. It was just so well written and unique.

A few books before those, I read the first two titles in Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy — The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire. I was about equally obsessed with these as I was with the stories about Katniss and Peeta, but I didn’t read the third book immediately because a friend agreed to loan me her copy when she finished it. So my unrelated update is (cue drumroll): I’m now reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest (the third and final book in the series), and I’m not gonna lie — I’m pretty excited about it.

Sorry if I sound a little crazy, but maybe (hopefully) there are other bookworms out there who completely know where I’m coming from. And if so, this post’s for you. What are you reading these days?

    Hi Kelly, Don’t you just love to cuddle up on the couch with a great book? I used to read a lot more before I took up beading for a hobby. The last book I read was Under The Dome by Stephen King and that was a while ago. I haven’t read the Hunger Games or even The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo yet, and probably will never find the time to read them. Will probably ending up just seeing the movies. I am envious of you for finding the time to read. Enjoy.

      Actually, I typically don’t have time, but I’ve been trying to make time lately because I really love reading. Hope you can find time soon :)
