My DIY St. Patty’s Day Shirt

March 17th, 2012 at 10:16 am . Posted in Crafty Projects .

I’ve always been crafty, and I’ve been with my hubby, B, since we were in high school. So about seven years ago, when B said he wished he had a shirt that says, “I <3 Clover” for St. Patrick’s Day, I decided to DIY one for him.

Unfortunately, he gave me a grungy old undershirt to work with as my canvas, but I got green fabric paint anyway and made it happen. The pattern looked so good, in fact, that I decided to get a white T-shirt and make one for myself, too. Mine is still pristine white, so I thought it’d be fun to share this oldie-but-goodie project in honor of the holiday.

Happy St. Patty’s Day! We’ll be celebrating tonight with my sister and her husband — it’s sure to be a good time! What are your St. Patrick’s plans?

That is certainly a blast from the past but nice all the same. 🙂

Peroxide still hearts Carrot even if time and past angst has drifted us apart.

Love you darling and I am very much enjoying your blog.
